Ferret care information is not readily available. You should think about how much time is needed for ferret care if you have one or you are thinking about buying a ferret. Ferrets are exotic animals which are members of the mustelid family. This means that adult ferrets do tend to have an odor. If you are not breeding ferrets, de-scenting and neutering is a wise choice. De-scenting will help with the odor, and neutering will prevent future ferret litters when you have two or more ferrets. You must take ferrets to a veterinarian for vaccinations, and it is always a good idea to take any newly purchased ferrets to the vet for a check-up.
